You might know this alley from taking the Underground Tour in Seattle's Pioneer Square, where you enter the alley after walking through the underground level. Here you can see the historic brick arch entrances, remnants of Seattle's underground. It's also a shortcut from Pioneer Park to Occidental Park, in the heart of Pioneer Square. Neighbors and businesses first started coming together to clean up their alley, coining the term from ‘rats to riches’. With a rich history from Seattle’s beginnings, the group named their alley ‘Pioneer Passages’. Check out the exciting events in this alley!
